Locating Images How soon after the race will images be online? Typically by the following Thursday or Friday after the event. First, find your event by clicking on either the "Find Your Event" or Event Calandar" buttons in the menu bar, and search for your event by its name or date. Once you have found our page for your event, you will see a "Find Your Images" box. Insert your search criteria where indicated. You may have to try different criteria until you find your images. If none of your searches lead to any images, click on the "Browsing the Galleries" link, which is on the same page. You can select a certain part of the event like start, bike, finish, et cetera and look through all the images in that section. If you were running with a friend, search for their image(s) since you might be located there. What is the Unknown Athlete gallery? This gallery contains images that are not searchable. What if I can't find my image in the Unknown Athlete gallery? It is very difficult to capture 100% of the field even though we try our hardest. There is a possibility that you were missed while passing the photographer. You can always email support@capturethemoment.net or call (916) 783-8590 for more assistance. Ordering Can I add to an existing order before it ships? Yes! Please call Facchino Photography at (916) 783-8590 between 8am-5pm PDT or email orders@capturethemoment.net with your order number and event name. What is the turn around time once I place an order? Orders usually ship within 1-2 weeks. Is there any additional cost to place an order by phone, fax, or snail mail? No. Prices are the same whether you call or send an order snail mail. Can I order a photo from a year ago? If so, is there a minimum purchase? Yes! We have all the negatives and digital files from events Facchino Photography has photographed, even events from three years ago. There is no minimum purchase. Please email support@capturethemoment.net or call (916) 783-8590. What if I'm not happy with my order? All orders are guaranteed. If you are not satisfied with your photograph(s) for any reason please contact support@capturethemoment.net or call (916) 783-8590. Can I use more than one image in a package? Yes! All packages that end in "M" are multiple image packages. You have the option of choosing 3-4 different images depending on the package. Imaging/Photographs Will the image I receive look exactly like the one on the Internet? No. The image on the Internet is a full frame digital image. The limitations of the computer and low resolution will not show the top quality of the final photograph. Photographs will be custom cropped and color corrected as necessary. Are photographs made digitally or from a negative? As of January 2004, all events photographed by Facchino Photography are captured from professional digital cameras. Prior to January 2004, all photographs are made from the negative. Do you offer the race name on the photograph? Yes. We offer 2 different options for event text. The first option is free and comes with the even name, race location, and date at the bottom of the print. The second option cost $6.00 and may have any text you like. Ordering of the text option is done after selecting the package desired. In the description field, select "Add Event Text" and choose your option. Yes. We offer 3 file sizes: Low(576x720 at 72dpi), Medium(1168x1752 at 300dpi, and High(2336x3504 at 300dpi). The medium and high digital files may be slightly larger depending on the camera used. Please note: Digital files are NOT automatically sent after ordering. Orders are processed the following business day. Can I use the image/photograph for publication after purchase? No. All images and photographs captured by Facchino Photography are copyright protected. Images and/or photographs may not be reproduced in part or whole for any purpose whatsoever unless written permission is obtained from Facchino Photography. All content on capturethemoment.net is also protected under this copyright policy. How are the photographs shipped? Photographs are shipped via USPS in a cardboard envelope or tube. Is the photograph(s) I order guaranteed? Yes. All photographs are guaranteed and can either be reprinted to your satisfaction, or returned for a full refund. What is done with the information I give when placing an order? Please read Facchino Photography's Privacy Policy. Will releasing my email result in spam? Never! It is used to notify participants that their images are ready for viewing. This information is also used for communication about your order. |
